About Us

INFORMATION CENTER FOR INDONESIAN LAW (PIHI) was established in 2001 by Notarial Deed of Notary Sri Nurhayati, SH Number 1 Dated 3 February 2001 as amended by Notarial Deed of Notary Jelly Nasseri, SH, MH Number 11 Dated 13 June 2007, on the name of Pusat Informasi Hukum Indonesia having its legal domicile in Bandung. Basic idea of the establishment of PIHI is to provide services to all interested parties in need of law assistance, consultancy, and information. In the going of time PIHI services further improved as to provide other activities in law including litigation, advocation, giving legal opinion, publishing of law and philosophy books, establishing law library, and conducting law research. Started with the idea about the importance of law knowledge to all members of community, the founders of PIHI dedicated their knowledge and skill in all field of law including education sector where some of PIHI members are lecturers in several state and private universities.
